The 19th U.S. teaches almost every year at Gettysburg National Battlefield.
It is one of the 19th's best teaching venues.
Along with a weekend long living history full of demonstrations and teaching, the 19th U.S. has the unique pleasure of being the only unit outside the US Army and the National Park Service to have lowered the National colors in Gettysburg National Cemetery.
